Mark Lampkin, Chester's Leading Accident Claim Solicitor

 

I am Mark Lampkin and I am the founder and owner of Lampkin & Co Solicitors.

 

I was born in Liverpool but lived for most of my life in Preston where I qualified as a Solicitor in 1990 at a large and prestigious Law firm called Napthens.

 

I specialised in Personal Injury Law at Berrymans Solicitors in Manchester and later at Fletchers Solicitors where I further specialised in motor accident claims of a serious nature.

 

Personal injury claims, a new direction

 

In 1999 I took the plunge to open my own firm rising to the challenge set by the government to introduce new and exciting ways to fund personal injury claims.

 

At the time I believed that claims companies could assist clients in seeking access to justice, I was happy to embrace this new world and work closely with a local company Claims UK to assist them in expanding rapidly and attracting deserving personal injury claims from all over the country. 

 

This business was phenomenally successful and at one stage Lampkin & Co took 500 referrals per month from that company and in total took in excess of 13,000 cases. 

 

Unfortunately following the collapse of the Accident Group, Claims UK also collapsed and since 1st April 2005 I have attracted other work directly to Lampkin & Co and now have strong views about the way forward.

 

110% compensation

 

I have invented my RTA110 scheme where I give accident victims 110% compensation following a road traffic accident subject to the conditions.  This is the only scheme of its kind in the country and I am proud of its invention.

Motorbike Accident Claims

 

I have adapted the scheme for motor cyclists who can elect to take £250 motorcycle vouchers or a straight cash amount when making a motorbike accident claim.  The reason I do this is that I am giving clients an incentive to come to me first rather than ring their insurance company.

 

 

 

The Lampkin Family

 

I live in Hawarden a delightful village in North Wales whose most famous resident is now Michael Owen the England footballer but previously was the Prime Minister William Gladstone.

 

I am extremely proud that my son Jason who plays for Manchester United Academy has just been selected to play for England at under 16 schoolboy level and here is a picture of him in action.  I know the local community and school are following his career with interest and I will continue to post on this site the progress that he makes.

 

My daughter Jenny is younger but no less talented.  She is an aspiring athlete and we will soon need to move house for extra space for all her trophies. 

 

My wife Elizabeth has been instrumental and a tower of strength in the phenomenal progress of Lampkin & Co and balances her duties as a language teacher at Wirral Grammar School For Girls with her support for the firm.

 

Putting something back

 

I am a keen motorcyclist and active supporter of C.O.B.B. a Society that helps bikers injured in accidents where they cannot raise a claim.  This is my way of putting something back into the accident world to assist people who have had unfortunate accidents but can’t be compensated.  Here is a picture of me donating my company motorcycle to that Society to assist them in their travels and their benevolent work.

 

The band

 

I also play tenor saxophone in an eight piece soul band called the Elevators and here is us in our normal and fancy dress outfits.  It was an ambition of mine to play saxophone in the band before the age of 40 and set myself a tight schedule purchasing my saxophone at the age of 38.  I achieved my goal with a year to spare.

 

The band would never forgive me if I didn’t mention that we are always available for bookings!
