No win no fee personal injury claims advice

My name’s Mark Lampkin of Lampkin and Co solicitors. I’m a personal injury solicitor and I just want to tell you some of the secrets about making a personal injury claim in this country. Most people only have one accident, so you need to know this information before you instruct anybody to make a claim on your behalf.

Firstly you have to have been injured and that injury has to be caused by somebody else - but always ring, always ask - you never know when you can make a claim. And you’ve heard the phrase where there’s blame there’s a claim and that does apply. Nowadays it’s free to make a claim and people don’t believe that but it is. The way we operate as solicitors is on a no win no fee system. Now that means that we don’t get paid unless and until we win your case. And when we win, you get 100% of your damages and we then go to the losing party and say give us our costs and we get our costs on top.

Now we at Lampkin and Co have taken that a bit further. We actually can now give you, believe it or not, 110% compensation if you have a road traffic accident. Now that sounds too good to be true but it’s not. I’m here to tell you that I invented that scheme, and I’m here to offer it to you. So if you’ve been inured in a road traffic accident, not only can we give you 100% but we can give you 110% with the extra 10% coming from the costs that we recover on your behalf.

It’s a great scheme and I’m proud of it, I invented it and the reason I do it is because you instruct me directly. It may surprise you to know that if you ring your insurance company first, all they will do is sell your case to another solicitor, who will have to pay six, seven or eight hundred pounds to get your case and I think that’s wrong. What I want to do is look after you directly and give you more from your accident claim.

So the major thing you’ve got to remember when you’re making a decision on who to instruct to pursue your personal injury claim is number one - Get a solicitor. Only a solicitor can do your case. A claims company can’t. All they can do is sell your case to a solicitor. So go straight to a solicitor. Most solicitors will advertise on the internet, or you can get details through the Law Society will do your case on a no win no fee basis. Go straight to them and you will get a better deal.
